Each of the Wild Ferns skincare collections feature a key ingredient that is not only unique to New Zealand, but also has beneficial properties to ensure you are looking after the health and enhancement of your skin regardless of which range you choose.
Manuka Honey is renowned world wide for the natural antiseptic and antibacterial
properties. We choose to use Active AAH (Antibacterial Antioxidant
Honey) 650+ as it also contains high levels of antioxidants, which have
been proven to help slow down the ageing process of your skin.
New Zealand Bee Venom from the Bee is renowned for its ability to create a younger looking
complexion by stimulating the skin to encourage collagen and elastin
production, helping to firm and plump facial tissue. Not all Bee Venom
is equal which is the reason Wild Ferns have used VENZ™ purified venom
to ensure you get the highest quality available which is also ethical
and humane.
Lanolin is the natural oil extracted from the wool of the sheep, and is the
closest oil in nature to which humans produce. It has long been
renowned for its extremely beneficial moisturising and nourishing
properties, and therefore is ideal as a key ingredient in a skincare
range. Lanolin is readily absorbed into the skin making it look and
feel younger and softer, whilst improving the suppleness and elasticity
associated with healthy, youthful skin.
Kiwifruit are naturally high in vitamins, minerals, Omega 3 and antioxidants which are all important in the care of your skin.
New ZealandNative Flowers is a collection that features the fragrance of five of New Zealand's
native flowers. These include Manuka, Pohutukawa, Harakeke (NZ Flax),
Kowhai and Puriri. This is a decadent range which will stimulate your
senses and pamper your skin.
Rotorua Mud is excellent for use in regenerative skin care as it has a very strong
affinity for moisture. This mud on drying will generate heat, increasing
the blood circulation and perspiration which help eliminate toxins and
other wastes. It easily absorbs excess oils and fatty secretions from
within the skin’s pores, detoxifies and purifies, and helps promote the
regeneration of new cells.
